A body loses itself in a rock face.
One hand dives into the water, another into a tree trunk.
Other bodies lie on stones, on fields, appear bound or in a rush.
Trees, flowers, landscapes, and a hug between a human and an animal.
The fog blurs our boundaries: where does nature begin and where does the human end?
Air and fire can also play a role when they come into contact with photographic paper.
Light and time reflect colours and remind us that we are all in a state of constant change.
The group exhibition shows selected photographs from our first open call, whose title refers to the words of philosopher Timothy Morton: “Ecological criticism and queer theory seem incompatible, but if they met, there would be a fantastic explosion”.
The analogue, digital and experimental photographs featured in the exhibition can help us find an answer to the question: What happens when we challenge our idea of what is “natural”?
